The Highlander:

First saw the movie somewhere in the 80's. 88 or 89 perhaps. sa ABS-CBN sunday movie specials. aside from the kick ass queen soundtrack, the first installment is effin' (fuckin') awesome. great story, great scenes and a kick ass sword fight on skirts. everything about the first highlander is great, at one point in my childhood i remember bringing a sword to school wearing a trenchcoat and a skirt underneath. but that was a long time ago.
Few years after came the sequel, " The quickening". watch the movie in the cinema with fella highlander fan Joji, who i like to call, "Joji Kabuto". Back then, the idea of a sheild covering our planet from harmful rays is cool, plus the fact that the highlanders are from another planet i effin' great when your when your 12. man, i wish hollywood make movies like this again not those dragon balls and street fighter crap. or the matrix. the one, duh! there can only be one, highlander.

wanted to re-watch the first highlander but couldn't find any on the dvd stalls. anyone of you have a copy, please pahiram.

maganda yung the matrix. just forget the sequel and the third one. ganyan talaga ang commercial product vs. art. pag produkto, they won't stop till they milk the cow dry.

maganda naman yung matrix ng wachowsky bros. pero imagine kung farrelly bros gumawa nun tapos si ben stiller si neo tapos si chris rock si morpheus. hehehehe

katatapos ko lng panuorin yung heighlander II sa u-tube. baduy n pala. kung uulitin.... hehehe

malamang yung I ok pa rin. dahil original, tsaka mas malawak yun storya. mula 16th century to 21st.
baka dahil sa immortal si connor mcleod, possible n naging mag tropa sila ni william wallace. tas nung last battle ng mga scotts, nung naubos sila si conor mcleod nagpataypatayan. masakit din mahiwa ng broadsword.

while we're going to our riding spot, i heard my friends talking about the movie "x-men origins: wolverine"

"napanood ko kagabi xmen wolverine, magkapatid pala sila ni sabretooth" sabi ng isa

"ha?, di ba father ni wolverine si sabretooth?" he replied

"eh yun yung nasa movie eh"

"iniba nila storya sa cartoons?"

and the conversation goes on...

alam ko father and son nga talaga sila base sa napanood ko sa cartoons at sa mga marvel cards ko dati, ano nga ba storya ngayon?, di ko pa rin napanood movie eh, but from what i heard parang wala na ako gana panoorin kung hindi na faithful sa original story

basta ako hinihintay ko lang ito..

dito ba natin pag-uusapan yung mga pelikula ni kurosawa or ni kubrick? hehehe.

speaking of transformers, napansin ko iba din yung mga characters/vehicles, especially si bumblebee, kahit sino naman alam na volkswagen beetle yun, biglang naging chevy camaro, as if masyadong luma na gamitin yung beetle para sa movie, meron naman volkswagen new beetle ah, yung modern version, at least beetle pa rin, isa pa si optimus prime, dapat flat nose truck ang ginamit, naging long nose naman sa movie, ewan ko, its just me, yun ang mga details na hinahanap ko

I thought no other movie would be more AWESOMErrr than "Drag me to Hell".



I was wrong, we just watched "Apocalypse of the Dead", and this one "kills the cake". hehehehe



My wife and I were laughing the whole time.
