i really depend on what type of riding discipline you want.

there are many to choose from, confusing na nga e.

trail
xc
dh
4-cross
dj's
freeride
slopestyle
street
and all mountain- which is a little bit of everything.

tamo, parehas sagot namin ni papsi. decide on what style of riding that's suited to you.

tapos dun natin based yung mga suggestions about the set up. and also, the budget. importante din yun. para mai budget natin yung mga pyesa nad kakasya sa pondo mo.

Magbasa ka sa forum dun sa "Biking by discipline" maybe you can decide what discipline you would prefer. Tapos tignan mo muna yung mga bikes sa gallery naka classify naman sila based sa discipline.

mongoose fireball built bike. 17k. hassle free. chaka na upgrade pag nahilig na talaga.

dunno kung meron pang mga maayos na built bikes around at that price range.

BTW, dont forget to include protective gear in your budget. life saver ang helmet.

Sir, when we say street, it means doing tricks ala bmx bikes on the streets. "street" bikes usually have no suspensions, have low seats, single rear brake, single gear ( walang shifters), and are definitely not made for traveling long distances.

If your looking to just ride on the streets, or plan to go on trails from time to time, meaning the bike would be used for traveling rather than stunt riding, then I suggest you get an Cross country bike or XC for short, with front suspension forks.

Okay din yun all mountain, but at 20k baka kapusin ka sa budget, or kung naka buo ka man, too much compromise sa quality sa pyesa.

A starter XC bike cost around 15k to 20k, yun mongoose fireball posted by Joes, is a good choice, or you could start by getting a Vision pursuit frame and shop around for 2nd hand items.
